PNF Trustees

Dr. Cyril Aninwike, a 1987 Pharmacy graduate from the University of Nigeria, is a seasoned pharmaceutical marketer and management consultant. He holds a PGD in Marketing, an MSc, and a PhD in Management. Cyril serves as CEO of Ascent Pharmacy, Enugu, and lectures in Clinical Pharmacy and Biopharmaceutics at Enugu State University of Science and Technology. A Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, he was a Governing Council Member at the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu (2016–2020). Cyril is a Trustee of PNF and is married to Callista, with whom he has four adult children.

Dr. Calista Ijeoma Chukwu is a Registered Nurse and a Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist in NC, USA. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill (Pharm-D), she serves as Owner/Director of Clinical Services and Chief Compliance Officer at Allcare Pharmacy Services, Angier, NC, and AllcareRx Medical Supplies, Garner, NC. She is a Trustee for PNF and also a Trustee and Treasurer for PNFUSA. The third child of Peter and Margaret Nwomeh, she combines decades of healthcare experience with a commitment to community service. Calista is married to Joseph Chukwu, and they have three adult children.

Dr. Benedict Nwomeh attended medical school at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and holds a Master of Public Health degree from The Ohio State University. With training in Nigeria, the UK, and the US, he is a pediatric surgeon at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, OH, and a professor of surgery at The Ohio State University. A fellow of several prestigious surgical colleges, Dr. Nwomeh has held leadership roles in leading surgical societies in the US and globally. He serves as President of PNF and PNFUSA and is married with three children.

Chioma Nwomeh is the daughter of Benedict Nwomeh and granddaughter of Peter and Margaret Nwomeh. She holds an honors BA in Political Science with a specialization in Comparative Politics and a Spanish Translation Certification from American University, Washington, DC. She is pursuing an MA in Latin American Studies (MALAS) focusing on conflict, peace, and rights as part of a dual MALAS/JD law school program at the University of New Mexico. Chioma is a Trustee and Director of Scholarship Programs for PNF and PNFUSA, reflecting her commitment to education and community development.

Dan Nwomeh is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State on Media. He earned a BA in History and a master’s in political science from the University of Lagos. A seasoned media personality and government spokesman, he previously served as Chief Press Secretary to the Governor and as Special Assistant on Media and Communication to the Minister of Health. Dan was also a lecturer in Political Science at Renaissance University, Enugu State, and a member of its Governing Council. He is a Trustee and Secretary of the Foundation. Dan and his twin, Edward, are the youngest children of Peter and Margaret Nwomeh.

Edward Nwomeh is a seasoned banking professional with over 25 years of experience spanning Risk Management, Internal Control, and Audit/Consulting across four commercial banks. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting, an MBA from the University of Lagos, and certifications including FCA, FCRM, and Moody’s Commercial Lending. Edward has led in roles such as Head of Regional Control at Standard Trust Bank and Chief Risk Officer at Parallex Bank. His expertise includes Credit Risk, Basel Accords, and Enterprise Risk Management. A Trustee and Treasurer of the Foundation, Edward and his twin, Dan, are the youngest children of Peter and Margaret Nwomeh.

Mrs. Angela Chinenye Oguh is the eldest child of Peter and Margaret Nwomeh. She attended Girls Secondary School, Ngwo, Federal College of Education, Katsina, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, earning an NCE, B.Ed in Home Economics, and M.Ed in Education Administration and Planning. With extensive teaching experience, she is now an Educational Supervisor with the Police Force Education Unit at the Zonal Quality Assurance Office, Enugu. Angela serves as a Trustee and Vice-President of PNF. She and her late husband, Barr. Samuel N. Oguh (ACP, rtd.), were blessed with four children.

Uchenna Oguh is the first grandchild of Peter Nwomeh. A veteran, he attended the Nigerian Military School, Zaria, and earned a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Uche is the founder and CEO of Vandroff Energy Limited, a company specializing in commodity exports. He serves as a Trustee of PNF and as the Director of Projects for both PNF and PNF-USA, contributing to the foundations’ missions through his leadership and expertise.

Valentine Onyia is a consulting geoscientist and co-founder of ENC Energy Solutions, Houston, Texas. With three decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, he has worked with Chevron Corporation and Equinor, gaining extensive technical and commercial expertise across North America, Latin America, Africa, and Europe. His specialties include exploration, development, reservoir engineering, operations, and management. A graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Val is a certified geoscientist in Texas and a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. He is a Trustee of PNF and PNFUSA. Val is married with children.

Bernard Chiedozie Ugwu, like his uncle Peter Nwomeh, is a Mathematics scholar. He hails from the family of Chief Ugwu Nwobodo of Umuawode Umuigwetuba, Enugwuegu Ozalla, and is a nephew of Peter Nwomeh. He attended Colliery Comprehensive Secondary School, Ngwo, achieving Grade 1 in WASC (1979). His passion for Mathematics led him to pursue a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics at the University of Lagos, graduating with Second Class (Upper Division) in 1985, followed by an M.Sc. in Mathematics. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Bernard is a Trustee of PNF and is married with children.
